Job Description:

The Technician will apply their advanced knowledge of the equipment and processes in Beals Studios to aid in the mentorship of the student body, faculty, and staff. They will work with both individuals and groups, providing guidance and training. The Student Technician will mentor the new Beals Workstudy. They will be able to identify the needs of Beals Studios, discuss them with Beals staff, and fulfill them. They may also assist the staff with curriculum development and planning as well as the organization and streamlining of the workflow at Beals Studios. They may, on rare occasions, be relied upon to work in Beals Studios while neither the Coordinator nor the Manager is present.

Qualifications/Skills Needed:

Advanced knowledge of the equipment and associated processes in Beals Studios, as well as the desire to further develop and apply this knowledge, sets. Strong, self-driven work ethic with the ability to identify, communicate, and fulfill the needs of Beals Studios. Able to eloquently communicate and instruct individuals and groups concerning computerized processes. Punctual and dependable. Beals Student Technician must work a minimum 8hr/week to hold this position.
