Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: Performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance, repair and operation of grounds, open spaces and other rights-of-way.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: None.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Performs tree and turf cutting and maintenance.
· Performs mulching, weeding, edging and other outside field and vegetation maintenance.
· Ability to establish and
maintain effective working relationships with other employees, and the general
public.
· Ability to work
independently and in groups and the ability to complete daily activities
according to work schedules.
Must be able to drive a Village Vehicle with a valid Drivers License.
The Village is part of the Florida Retirement System, and therefore a mandatory contribution of 3% must be made for retirement.
