About This Position

Description:

A-1 Toyota is looking for an ASE Master Technician who is highly skilled and certified automotive professional who will demonstrate expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining all major vehicle systems.

TOYOTA EXPERIENCE NOT REQUIRED. OTHER OEM CERTIFICATIONS ARE DESIRED AS WELL

They are proficient in using diagnostic equipment, performing complex repairs, and staying updated on the latest automotive technologies. They may also be responsible for leading and training other technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Diagnostics: Using diagnostic tools to identify and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Performing repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and suspension.
  • Quality Control: EnsuringEnsuring all repairs are completed accurately and efficiently, meeting dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • Customer Communication: Explaining repair needs, costs, and timelines to customers in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Team Leadership: Mentoring and guiding other technicians, providing training and feedback to enhance their skills.
  • Staying Current: Keeping up to date with the latest automotive technology, attending training programs, and adhering to industry standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and protocols.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts usage.
Requirements:
  • ASE Certification: Possession of all ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications, demonstrating expertise in various automotive areas.
  • Experience: Several years of experience as an automotive technician, with a strong background in diagnostics and repairs.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, tools, and specialized repair procedures.
