SENIOR MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST in Elkins, West Virginia at Davis Health System

Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Technology 2 years experience in the assigned section of responsibility Licensure/Certification: WV license or eligibility required; ASCP certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsible for effective daily operation of the assigned laboratory section. Performs Medical Technologist duties. Participates in meetings and committees pertaining to the assigned section as needed. Reviews results for accuracy, maintains proper records, maintains procedure manuals, performs evaluations of new testing methods and instrumentation in compliance with all criteria mandated by appropriate accrediting agency.
