About This Position
The National Indian Health Board (NIHB) works to strengthen Tribal public health systems and advance the health and wellness of American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities.
We are building a talent pool for our Tribal Public Health Programs Division. This department supports Tribal nations through initiatives in:
- Public Health Capacity and Infrastructure
- Body, Mind & Spirit: A Holistic Approach to Health
- Environmental Health
- Tribal Health Data
Location: Positions are based in Washington, DC; however, qualified candidates from across the United States will be considered for remote opportunities. Most roles require up to 20% travel.
While we are not actively hiring for all positions today, we invite individuals to express their interest and join our candidate pool for upcoming opportunities.
Potential Opportunities
- Program Manager – Lead collaborative teams in designing and implementing Tribal public health programs. Supervisory position. Based in Washington, DC, with remote options available for exceptional candidates nationwide.
- Project Lead – Manage projects within larger initiatives, ensuring goals and Tribal priorities are met. Based in Washington, DC, with flexibility for remote work across the U.S.
- Project Coordinator – Coordinate project logistics, communication, and support program execution. Based in Washington, DC, with remote options available.
- Project Associate – Provide administrative, research, and operational support for program activities. Based in Washington, DC, with remote options available.
