Track Marshal / Guest Safety Attendant at Indy Karting & Amusement – Bluffton, South Carolina

Job Description:
Join the high-energy team at Indy Karting Bluffton as a Track Marshal! We’re looking for responsible, alert, and outgoing individuals to help deliver a safe and exciting experience for our guests. Track Marshals play a critical role in race operations—ensuring safety, enforcing rules, and maintaining smooth flow on and off the track.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the track during races to ensure guest safety and rule compliance

• Clearly communicate with guests before, during, and after races

• Operate track controls and respond quickly to on-track incidents

• Safely assist guests entering and exiting karts

• Inspect helmets, neck braces, and safety gear before each race

• Enforce all safety and eligibility requirements (height, age, sobriety, etc.)

• Complete and maintain TIPS alcohol service training certification

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pit and track areas

• Collaborate with the operations team to deliver exceptional guest experiences

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Must successfully complete TIPS alcohol service training

• Strong awareness and quick decision-making under pressure

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to enforce rules calmly, confidently, and respectfully

• Comfortable standing for long periods and working in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in recreation, hospitality, or amusement operations

• Familiarity with safety procedures or track operations (preferred but not required)
