Front Desk Receptionist in San Clemente, California at OC Sports and Rehab

OC Sports & Rehab, a busy physical therapy practice in San Clemente, is seeking a full-time Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a key part in keeping our office running smoothly.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: $21-$25 per hour

What You'll Do:

• Schedule patient appointments
• Check patients in and out
• Collect copays
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
• Obtain treatment authorizations
• Answer and route phone calls
• Perform accurate data entry

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 1 year of front desk experience in a medical office setting (physical therapy or chiropractic experience strongly preferred)
• Working knowledge of insurance verification and authorization processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Comfortable working under the direction of the Office Manager
