As a VW Service Technician at Volkswagen of Downtown Chicago, you will play a critical role in ensuring the performance and reliability of our customers' vehicles. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance, and providing exceptional service to our valued customers.
Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on Volkswagen (VW) vehiclesPerform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspectionsUse diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle problems accuratelyCommunicate effectively with customers and service advisors regarding vehicle repairsMaintain a clean and organized work environment in the service bay
Qualifications:2-4 years experience as an automotive technician, preferably with Volkswagen or Audi vehicles (will consider other experience as well)ASE certification or equivalent technical training is a plusStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
