Location: Country Village, Chico

Position: Full-time, part-time; 6AM-2PM or 2PM - 10PM

Country Village Assisted Living & Memory Care for the elderly is seeking a positive, patient, caring person who enjoys assisting the elderly with activities of daily living. Come down to our facility, which most say looks like a bed-and-breakfast—a home.

Caregivers are expected to assist our residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, dressing, meal services, laundry, and tidying up/housekeeping. We are currently seeking individuals who are teachable and want to be part of a great team.

Physical Attributes of the job: Frequently position self (stooping, bending, squatting, lifting up to 50 pounds, grasping, pushing, pulling, twisting at the waist).

Full-time preferred

Part-time weekend positions available

Weekend availability required

Experience in caregiving preferred

Must be at least 18 years old to apply

Open shift:

6:00am - 2:00pm (AM shift)

2:00pm - 10:00pm (PM shift)

Healthcare setting: Assisted living facility, memory care, respite, and hospice for the elderly

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to receive and maintain a California Background Clearance through the Department of Social Services.
• Each employee must have a physical examination and tuberculosis test performed by a physician. The tests are to be completed (with results) no more than six (6) months prior to, or within seven (7) days after hire (unless regulations stipulate completion before employment). If the exams are not completed within this time frame, the employee will be placed on suspension until they are completed.
