Accession Officer at Diag – Houston, Texas

1. Receive samples for all lab tests for all lab floors from PSC / courier and accept the sample LIS with in defined TAT.

2. Sample receivables and transportation to lab when needed as a runner

3. Check for tube labelling, sample quantity, sample quality, checking no of tubes as per PSC, documentation of the same and information of any discrepancy to the senior AO.

- Information to any Lab on STAT samples or STAT / Urgent samples.

- Job assigned by Lab Manager or Senior AO as regards to accessioning based on training and continual monitoring of the Jr AO.

4. Seek resolution of any sample related issues, do a root cause analysis (RCA) of the problem, document the issue, do a corrective action (CA) if related to sample and advise a preventive action (PA) for avoiding similar issues in future.

5. Check out the result of all tests, make sure it is on time.

6. Help to resolve any queries for PSC or Clients or Internal Diag teams related to the information of tests, panels, cut of time, TAT, sample collection, and its predictive time on the results.

- University degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biotechnology, BioChemistry...

- At least 1 year experience working as Lab Technician in medical laboratory.

- Can work in shift

- Good communication (both in Vietnamese and English)

- Good MS Office skills
