Day Care Teacher Assistant in Thomasville, North Carolina at EveryAge

Kids Only Child Care Center, located at Piedmont Crossing, is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to support our preschool program. The Teacher Assistant works closely with the Lead Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that promotes the educational, social, emotional, and physical development of young children. This position assists with daily classroom activities, curriculum implementation, supervision, and the overall well-being of the children in our care.

Minimum Education Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Working toward an Early Childhood Credential or related early childhood education certification.

Minimum Experience Requirements:

• At least one year of experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare, preschool, or early learning environment preferred.
• Early Childhood Credential preferred.

Additional Qualifications:

• Current CPR and First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain certification upon hire.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, families, and team members.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
