About This Position

Position Summary:

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist to join our growing and collaborative medical team. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality neurological care in a supportive environment with access to modern diagnostic tools and a strong referral network.

General Responsibilities

  • Upholds the terms and expectations outlined in the employment agreement with Auburn Memorial Medical Services.
  • Provides patient care with the highest level of ethical and professional standards.
  • Maintains a strong, trust-based physician-patient relationship as the foundation of care.
  • Demonstrates integrity, transparency, and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Actively contributes to the continued growth and excellence of Auburn Memorial Medical Services’ clinical services.
  • Commits to lifelong learning and continuous professional development to stay current in medical knowledge and skills.
  • Dedicates full-time effort to the practice and advancement of their medical specialty at Auburn Memorial Medical Services.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with neurological disorders
  • Manage both inpatient and/or outpatient neurological care (depending on role)
  • Interpret diagnostic tests including EEG, EMG, MRI, and CT scans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited Neurology residency
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology
  • Active or eligible medical license in [State]
  • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills

Preferred (Optional)

  • Subspecialty training in [e.g., Epilepsy, Stroke, Movement Disorders, MS]
  • Experience with EMG/EEG or interventional procedures
  • Interest in research or teaching (if academic setting)
