• Provide clinical oversight of clinical students and programs for the purposes of recruiting, supporting, and retaining employees. Conducts evidence-based research and uses available resources and various instructional approaches to develop and implement training programs based on hospital protocols, policies and procedures, and regulatory standards to facilitate learning and competence. Evaluates the effectiveness of educational programs and provides appropriate documentation of education activities. Ensures high quality, compassionate healthcare through continued personal, professional development and innovative thinking, and functions as a professional role model for students and staff.

• Minimum Education
  • Bachelor’s in Nursing Education
• 
  Minimum Experience
  • Three (3) years-experience in healthcare-related field. Two (2) years experience in health-related education.
• 
  Required Registration/License/Certification
  • Holds current license in healthcare related field
  • BLS within 90 days of hire or transfer
• 
  Preferred Education
  • Master’s in Nursing Education
• 
  Preferred Experience
  • One or more years-experience in management or supervisory position.
• 
  Preferred Registration/License/Certification
  • Nursing Professional Development Certification
