Physical Therapist Assistant - VNA at Waterbury Hospital – Watertown, Connecticut

JOB SUMMARY:

· To assist in the provision of physical therapy to patients in their home, under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, according to established Agency policies and procedures.

· Promotes high quality standards of care and positive outcomes

· Reports to Therapy Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education and Experience

· Graduate of Physical Therapy Assistant Associate Degree program accredited by an agency recognized by the Secretary of the United States Department of Education or the Council on Postsecondary Accreditation.

· Experience: One year of acute care experience. Additional experience in home health care preferred.

Other Qualifications

· A valid driver's license and personal vehicle

· Certification by the State of Connecticut.

· Physical, mental and sensory abilities sufficient to meet performance standards with or without assistive devices
