Patient Access Specialist at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital – Clinton, Missouri

The Patient Access Specialist registers patients consistent with GVMH processes; accurately schedules patients for all therapy services; communicates written and verbally both in person and via phone/email/software with patients, providers and other staff; obtains, verifies and communicates health insurance coverage, benefits and authorizations. May also be responsible for collecting co-pays/deductibles/co-insurance from patients. This position serves as a key support role in the Therapy Services department, helping to facilitate a seamless delivery of care and excellent patient care experience. This individual is ultimately responsible for all nonclinical aspects of Therapy Services' patient experience and delivery of care.

Required:
