Responsibilities

As a Multifamily Operations Senior Analyst with Hines, you will assist with building out the Multifamily Operations reporting program including, internal and external reporting, portfolio performance measurement and analytics, Entrata reporting administration, and other systems implementations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in multifamily operations and reporting analytics, with expertise in leveraging data to drive actionable insights and improve operational performance. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Analysis of historical financials, variance explanations, an updated forecast with risks and opportunities to current plan, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

  • Ability to work autonomously with little supervision while continuously ensuring alignment of objectives.

  • Provide Entrata and REBA Reporting support to Property Management and Asset Management teams.

  • Create asset and portfolio-level reports for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Assist in annual budget preparation and asset reporting processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key performance metrics and data sources relevant to multifamily operations.

  • Develop and implement data collection processes to gather relevant operational data from various sources, including property management software, financial systems, and resident surveys.

  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in multifamily operations, including but not limited to leasing, resident retention, maintenance, and financial performance.

  • Assist with the design and build of interactive dashboards, charts, and reports using tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or other software models to visualize key performance metrics and communicate insights effectively.

  • Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize operational processes, enhance resident experience, and maximize property performance.

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analytics, multifamily operations, and real estate technology to continuously improve analytical capabilities and drive innovation.

  • Provide support to Director, Revenue Management with AIRM reporting.



Qualifications

Minimum Requirement include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience in real estate data analytics.
  • Multifamily real estate experience strongly preferably

  • Experience using business intelligence tools such as PowerBi, Power Apps, Tableau, etc.

  • Experience using property software is highly preferred, Entrata preferred.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, highly motivated and results oriented, process oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Effectively exchange ideas, information, and opinions with others to arrive jointly at decisions, conclusions, or solutions.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven track record of driving business impact through data-driven decision-making.
