Physical Therapist at St. Claire Regional Medical Center – Morehead, Kentucky

This position is eligible for a $20,000 Sign-On Bonus

The Physical Therapist assesses, plans, and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients and patient groups according to the principles and practices of physical therapy. Provides patient care/service based on identified needs/developmental levels for all patient populations.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Evaluates assigned patients within the guidelines established by the physician and in compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
• Implements competent treatment and performs regular reassessments for treatment modification, to maximize the patient’s potential for functional independence.
• Provides patient/family/caregiver education based on the patient’s disability, age, and psychosocial needs.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation timely.

Education:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

Experience:
One year of clinical experience preferred

Licensure/Certification:
Valid Kentucky Board of Physical Therapy license
Valid Kentucky driver's license (if home health)
