Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Assistant Program Director for HSPRS Program, the Senior Program Manager for HSPRS is responsible for the programmatic and operational management of the home study and post-release services programming. Provides oversight of assigned regional operations and assures that all CPLC’s principles and practices are followed in order to implement high-quality services. Manages communication with partners and ORR in responding to changing service needs, including changes in federal laws and policies and fluctuations in the number of children and families served. Monitors programs in real-time and delivers technical assistance to ensure consistent case placement and standards of service provision. Supports with on-site training and workshops on CPLC and ORR policies and procedures. Oversees regional supervisors and other staff as assigned. Actively liaise between ORR, CPLC, and the field to support and ensure service excellence. Interacts with the federal oversight apparatus at each location. Master's degree in social work or related field along with substantial experience required. Collaborates with HSPRS Leadership to provide regional program oversight.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Graduate degree in Social Work or other Behavioral Science in combination with a minimum of four years of clinical experience and knowledge of child welfare systems, principles, practices, and emerging trends OR Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or other Behavioral Science and a minimum of 6 years of clinical experience and knowledge of child welfare systems, principles, practices, and emerging trends.

  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative supervisory experience.

  • Experience working with diverse client populations, particularly immigrants and refugees.

  • Experience using case management software.

  • Experience in program development, administration, and budget oversight.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Deep commitment to CPLC's core values and ability to model those values in relationships with colleagues and partners.

  • Ability to foster a team oriented culture across multiple regions and states.

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
