We are the largest state of the art acute care facility in Louisiana. We are continually looking for energetic, team oriented and self directed nursing staff. Your general orientation will start in our Career Institute and progress to a more unit specific individualized program with a preceptor. We offer a 5:1 and 6:1 ratio on our Medical Surgical units, 3:1 ratio on step-down and a 2:1 ratio in our critical care units. Our Winter Option offers nurses with a minimum of 2 years of experience the opportunity to do a short term contract and convert to Daily Option/PRN after an 18 week assignment. Graduates must be from an accredited school of nursing, ACLS preferred, current or eligible licensure in Louisiana.
