Catering Assistant Manager Job Responsibilities · Work with the manager on duty to verify store is following Food Safety Programs as it relates to Catering, food temps etc. · Balancing high volume with high quality · Comply with Smithfield’s Chicken N’ BBQ portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules · Working in restaurant locations when no caterings are scheduled is required · Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette required to promote and grow catering successfully · Work with Area Managers and VP of ops on all caterings to make sure they are covered and be willing to accept catering orders pre- scheduled Must be dedicated to Excellence and Hospitality Requirements include: · Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record · Must have transportation to the restaurant location · Must be one who looks to take the initiative and not wait for directions; and demonstrate the ability to multi-task and produce excellent results Must have a minimum of 2 years restaurant management experience Must be able to pass Background Check · Open availability and flexibility are a must – ability to work a changing schedule – weekend and holidays are required for this position Must have the ability to work long hours standing on your feet. Ability to lift 50lbs or more.
