OKO Group buils on the formidable expertise of Mr. Doronin- a successful and respected international developer, with a track record of more than 75 million square feet of world- class commercial real estate and luxury residential space over a total of 71 buildings.

OKO Group is currently developing several projects in Miami (Missoni Baia, Una, 830 Brickell, Aman Miami Beach) as well as Aman New York City. OKO Group looks to invest in Tier 1 markets within the United States as well as abroad.

Summary:

As an intern with OKO Group you will have the unique opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience in the luxury real estate and commercial development sector. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will contribute to various projects and initiatives, gaining insight into the intricacies of property development, market analysis, and client relations within the high-end segment of the industry.

Essential Functions / Tasks:

  • Financial Data Entry: Assist with entering and maintaining accurate financial records, invoices, expense reports, and accounting documentation.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable Support: Help process vendor invoices, track payments, prepare account reconciliations, and support collections activities when needed.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Assist with reconciling bank statements and identifying discrepancies for review by the accounting team.
  • Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of financial reports, spreadsheets, and summaries for internal review and analysis.
  • General Ledger Support: Assist with journal entries, account analysis, and maintaining organized accounting records.
  • Audit & Compliance Assistance: Help gather documentation and organize files for audits, compliance reviews, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Budget Tracking: Support the accounting department with monitoring budgets, tracking expenses, and analyzing variances.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the accounting team, including filing, document management, and maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with HR, operations, and other departments to ensure accurate financial processing and reporting.
  • Learning & Development: Participate in training sessions and gain hands-on exposure to accounting processes, financial systems, and corporate finance operations.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA):

  • Basic accounting principles, financial reporting concepts, accounts payable/receivable processes, and data management.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling financial information.
  • Team-oriented mindset with adaptability, initiative, and willingness to learn.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with accounting software is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop practical accounting and finance experience in a professional environment.

Work Environment / Conditions:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
