Job Description
Description:
- Responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments.
- Works closely with planning to ensure adequate levels of packaging materials are always available.
- Maintain relationships by communicating and enforcing efficient and high standards including on-time delivery and quality. Escalate issues appropriately.
- Support the overall manufacturing process by aiding in the production plan
- Create and support material management process for R&D projects
- Coordinate with inventory team, management, and stockroom as required.
- Develop dashboards to summarize and communicate the status of above priorities to leadership.
- High school education with 8 years warehouse experience or college degree with 3 years experience.
- Knowledgeable in shipping regulations for both on shore and international standards.
- Familiarity working with a middle market or large scale ERP system(s): NetSuite a plus
- Experienced user of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word and able to lean other software products quickly
- Great organization skills and the ability to balance multiple demands for your time
- Good written and verbal communication skills: bi-lingual Spanish and/or Chinese a plus
- Effective critical thinking and negotiation skills
