Position Information
The Regional Admissions Recruiter & Special Projects Coordinator serves as the primary university representative within an assigned Northern California territory and supports strategic enrollment initiatives through project-based work within Undergraduate Admissions.This position is responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies, building partnerships with high schools, community colleges, alumni networks, and community-based organizations, and counseling prospective students and families throughout the admissions process. The role will also collaborate closely with regional alumni volunteers and university partners to support outreach, yield efforts, and regional engagement activities.In addition to regional recruitment responsibilities, the position will lead and support special projects related to outreach, communications, events, technology, data management, and operational initiatives that advance enrollment goals.The position requires extensive travel throughout Northern California, including evening and weekend commitments during peak recruitment periods.The salary range for this position is $61,000.00 - $106,8000 annually, However, the expected budgeted pay scale for this position is $61,000.00 - $70,000.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements. Offers of employment are dependent on completing a misconduct disclosure and potential background check.
