Job Description
GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
Clinical Therapists serve as a member of the multi-disciplinary team responsible for providing trauma informed therapy services to clients who are dually diagnosed with mental illness and developmental disability.

Essential Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
- Conduct Mental Health Assessments and Semi-annual treatment planning for assigned clients using the State approved IM/CANS tool ensuring the treatment plans incorporate objectives that reflect the identified needs of the individuals served.
- Provide individual therapy, individual assessment and treatment planning to clients ages ranging from 18-65 years and older clients.
- Clinicians provide therapy services to individuals: in the community, at EU day centers and via telehealth.
- Provide information to outside agencies as requested to coordinate and assure the appropriateness of services.
- In conjunction with the client’s treatment team, keep the family, guardian and other Envision Unlimited staff informed of the client’s progress.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field. 1-3 years of experience in working within the social service arena, including internships. Must be able to work with diverse populations with multi-faceted needs. Experience with mental health and I/DD populations and knowledge of Medicaid standards preferred.
Must be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license or state ID, be approved to drive agency vehicles through agency insurance, pass a criminal background check. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
