Agile Transformation Lead/Scrum Master Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Agile Transformation Lead/Scrum Master Lead based in United States.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead large-scale agile transformation initiatives across multiple project teams supporting complex technology programs. Accountabilities
  • Serve as the primary agile methodology expert, establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving agile frameworks across multiple project teams.
  • Lead enterprise-wide agile transformation efforts by promoting Scrum principles, agile best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor and coach Scrum Masters, team leads, and stakeholders to strengthen agile maturity and delivery effectiveness.
  • Facilitate program-level agile ceremonies, including planning sessions, retrospectives, roadmap discussions, and cross-team coordination activities.
  • Drive alignment among multiple teams to ensure consistent implementation of agile processes and effective collaboration across workstreams.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure agile delivery practices support mission objectives, strategic priorities, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Identify and remove organizational impediments, foster transparency, and encourage a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
  • Support both cloud modernization initiatives and legacy system maintenance efforts by ensuring agile practices are appropriately tailored to project needs.
  • Monitor agile performance metrics and recommend improvements to optimize team productivity, delivery quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent agile certification.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience leading agile teams within federal, government, or commercial environments.
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting large-scale, multi-team programs with complex delivery requirements.
  • Demonstrated success scaling agile practices across multiple concurrent teams and large cross-functional organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile frameworks, servant leadership principles, and agile transformation methodologies.
  • Experience implementing agile delivery approaches in environments that combine cloud-native development and legacy application support.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategies, and modern software delivery concepts.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to mentor Scrum Masters, conduct agile training sessions, and lead program-level planning and retrospective activities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
