SUMMARY

The Terminal Technician position provides on-site, hands-on technical ability and operating skills required to maintain the company’s wagering equipment. This position ensures efficient and satisfactory service to the customer, working in a live and non-live racing environment.

BASE WORK LOCATION: Position classification is "TRACK"

Position Status: Full-Time

HOURS OF WORK: Hours Vary includes holidays, evenings and weekends based on business needs

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

• Assists with repair and operations of wagering systems and/or all other peripheral equipment or systems associated with the company’s service

• Troubleshoots and repairs all equipment associated with our service.

• Provides constructive interaction with our customers and co-workers in a high-pressure environment, geared towards all aspects of the company’s service operations.

• Deals with customer issues with tickets or equipment.

• Follows the company’s safety procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES - SUPERVISORY

• This position does not have supervisory/managerial responsibilities/duties

• This position is empowered to take initiative with applicable duties/projects

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• High School or Trade School degree

• Good understanding of PC operating systems.

• Basic mechanical knowledge.

• Good understanding of basic electrical principles and circuitry.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Physical ability to lift and carry 50 pounds, and to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.

• Preferred Experience and/or Education: Knowledgeable in technology, horse racing, pari-mutuel wagering, gaming, sports wagering and/or experience in a start-up environment.
