Plant Maintenance Mechanic in Wilmington, Delaware at York Building Products

Heritage Concrete is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for responsible for performing regular maintenance, repairs and improvements on concrete batch plant and supporting equipment at our 4 plant locations. Company vehicle provided

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine the best course of action for repair
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed to ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities performed

Experience: To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience: - Welding + Fabrication skills - At least 5 years similar work experience as a industrial mechanic

- Ability to work a flexible work schedule and regular overtime -General knowledge of working around batch plants and equipment preferred
