UK Senior Strategy Consultant

In this role, you will work closely with students and families to design personalized academic and extracurricular strategies aligned with long-term goals and top UK university aspirations. You’ll collaborate with a global network of mentors, tutors, and admissions specialists to deliver a highly tailored and impactful student experience. The position combines strategic advising, mentorship, and client relationship management within a fast-paced international environment. Accountabilities:
  • Develop individualized admissions roadmaps and long-term academic strategies tailored to each student’s goals, strengths, and aspirations.
  • Guide students through UK university admissions processes, including candidacy building, extracurricular planning, and application strategy development.
  • Collaborate closely with tutors, mentors, academic consultants, and account managers to ensure consistent execution of student development plans.
  • Provide expert recommendations regarding school selection, standardized testing, leadership activities, summer programs, and personal development opportunities.
  • Conduct regular consulting sessions with students and families, documenting progress, action plans, and strategic recommendations.
  • Support the development of compelling student narratives and thematic direction for university applications and personal statements.
  • Maintain proactive communication with students and parents to ensure engagement, accountability, and a high-quality client experience.
  • Participate in seminars, presentations, and marketing initiatives to support brand visibility and prospective client engagement.
  • Contribute to internal resource development, process improvements, and best-practice sharing across the consulting team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree from a leading UK university preferred; advanced degrees are considered an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years of full-time experience supporting students through admissions to highly competitive UK universities, including Oxford and Cambridge.
  • Strong understanding of UK higher education systems, admissions standards, and application processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students, families, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and relationship-building abilities with a student-centered approach.
  • Proven organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple student cases simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and perform under pressure in a remote environment.
  • Passion for education, youth development, and global perspectives.
  • Experience in formal education, tutoring, mentoring, or coaching environments is highly valued.
