Post Closing Coordinator in Rolling Meadows, Illinois at American Portfolio Mortgage

We’re hiring a Post Closing Coordinator to join our team in Rolling Meadows, IL!

This is a full-time, on-site position with pay ranging from $21–24/hour, depending on experience.

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn. Previous mortgage post-closing experience is preferred, but we are also open to motivated entry-level candidates looking to start a career in the mortgage industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and scrub daily closing packages for accuracy
• Scan and upload documents into Encompass
• Coordinate and communicate corrections needed on loan files
• Review Down Payment Assistance packages
• Complete MERS registrations
• Monitor pipelines and reports to ensure timely receipt and distribution of collateral documentation
• Communicate with escrow offices regarding missing documents
• Receive, log, and ship original collateral documents to warehouse banks and investors
• Maintain organized filing systems and assist with additional projects as needed

Qualifications

Required:

• Strong attention to detail
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• Basic math and typing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

• Previous Post Closing Coordinator experience
• Experience with Encompass and/or WLS systems
• Ability to manage high-volume workloads with urgency and accuracy

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.
