We are looking for a skilled and motivated Refrigeration Technician to join our Edmonton team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and solving complex mechanical and electrical problems in a fast-paced service environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Refrigeration Technician, you will:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Thermo King transport refrigeration equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and scheduled service work
• Install, start up, and commission refrigeration and temperature control systems
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and diagnostic software
• Support customers and internal service teams with technical problem solving
• Complete accurate service documentation and work orders
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
• Operate company service vehicles for field service and on-site customer support
• Travel to customer locations within the Edmonton area and occasionally out of town
• Participate in rotational after-hours on-call service support
• Conduct hazard assessments and follow all company safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
• Experience working with refrigeration, transport refrigeration, heavy equipment, automotive, or related systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and professionalism
• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record

Previous experience with Thermo King equipment is considered an asset, but not required.
