Hybrid Work arrangement: A "Hybrid" position means selected candidates will be assigned to a facility and will spend some time working both in office and from their home, with the majority of your time spent in-office. Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-oriented Technical Portfolio Director to lead a portfolio of large-scale technology implementations and transformation initiatives across the enterprise. This leader will oversee multiple complex, cross-functional programs simultaneously, ensuring alignment to strategic priorities, delivery excellence, operational readiness, and measurable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate combines strong technology delivery expertise with executive-level influence, portfolio governance experience, financial acumen, and the ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization. This role requires a leader who can connect strategy to execution, drive accountability across teams, proactively manage risk and dependencies, and operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments.
This position will partner closely with senior leaders across Technology, Product, Business, Digital, Finance, and Risk organizations to deliver transformational capabilities that support enterprise growth and modernization objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a portfolio of complex, enterprise-wide technology initiatives and implementations with multiple concurrent workstreams
- Establish and maintain integrated portfolio roadmaps, delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, and governance structures
- Drive alignment between business priorities, technology strategy, and execution plans
- Ensure portfolio delivery meets scope, timeline, budget, quality, and value realization objectives while managing risks, interdependencies, and delivery constraints across programs
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and business leaders
- Lead executive steering committees, governance forums, and portfolio reviews
- Provide concise, data-driven updates on portfolio health, risks, financials, and delivery status
- Influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment
- Build strong partnerships across business and technology organizations to drive alignment and decision-making
- Oversee enterprise technology implementations including platform modernization, cloud transformation, digital capabilities, data & AI platforms (e.g., Databricks), GenAI tool rollouts and enablement (e.g., adoption, governance, and operationalization), integrations, infrastructure upgrades, and operational enablement efforts
- Partner with architecture, engineering, product, and business teams to ensure successful implementation outcomes
- Ensure alignment between technical delivery, business processes, operational readiness, and customer experience objectives
- Support scalable and repeatable delivery practices across programs
- Lead organizational readiness, communication, and change management efforts related to major implementations
- Promote accountability, execution discipline, and continuous improvement across delivery teams
Qualifications
- 10+ years leading complex enterprise technology programs and portfolios
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, data ecosystems, and system integrations
- Demonstrated success operating within highly matrixed organizations
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading enterprise governance and steering committee processes
- Proven ability to influence across business and technology organizations
- Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management
- Experience within regulated industries (insurance/financial services) preferred

- Potential starting salary range: $173,000 - $236,200
- Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
- High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
- Potential yearly incentive pay up to 30% of base salary
