This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Supervisor, Technical Business Analysis in the United States.
This role sits at the intersection of business analysis, product development, and technical delivery within a mission-driven public sector environment. You will lead a team of technical business analysts while shaping requirements, documentation, and functional designs that guide development and QA efforts. The position plays a key role in translating complex stakeholder needs into structured solutions, ensuring high-quality delivery across product releases and system enhancements. You will collaborate closely with developers, QA teams, product leads, and external stakeholders to align priorities and ensure successful implementation. In addition to hands-on analytical work, you will supervise, coach, and develop team members to strengthen overall execution and capability. This is a highly collaborative and detail-oriented role where leadership, communication, and analytical rigor directly contribute to product success and service quality.
- Supervise and lead a team of technical business analysts, including task assignment, performance evaluation, coaching, and professional development.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and user requirements to define scope and functional needs for technical solutions.
- Create functional specifications, user stories, and supporting documentation for development and QA teams.
- Develop wireframes and prototypes using tools such as Axure RP or similar platforms to support solution design.
- Coordinate with developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to plan, execute, and validate testing processes, including UAT and regression testing.
- Oversee deployment verification, defect tracking, and resolution management through to release completion.
- Support product teams with feature configuration, troubleshooting, and roadmap development activities.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer, training sessions, and “train-the-trainer” initiatives for new features and system updates.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and contribute to product roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in business analysis, product design, or technical solution delivery.
- Proven experience leading, supervising, or coaching technical business analysts or similar teams.
- Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories.
- Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Axure RP or Balsamiq (or ability to learn quickly).
- Familiarity with project tracking tools such as JIRA, Asana, or MS Project is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver high-quality results on time.
- Experience in education, health, or public sector environments is a plus.
