Job Description

GTM Specialist, Government

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a GTM Specialist, Government in United States.

This role sits at the center of government sales execution, ensuring that complex public sector deals move efficiently from opportunity to close. You will act as a key enabler for sellers, removing friction, coordinating stakeholders, and driving operational rigor across federal and state contracting processes. Working remotely and covering a defined regional territory, you will support high-volume deal cycles while improving speed, compliance, and win rates. The position requires strong collaboration across Deal Desk, legal, pricing, and leadership teams to ensure deals progress smoothly. You will also contribute to shaping better contracting practices and identifying new procurement pathways. This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced environment where execution quality directly influences revenue outcomes.

Accountabilities:
  • Serve as the primary GTM point of contact for sellers within an assigned U.S. region, supporting deal progression from intake through closure and actively removing blockers that slow or prevent deal execution.
  • Support contract review processes, including guidance on pricing structures, redlines, and non-standard terms for government deals across federal and SLED environments.
  • Drive improvements in deal close rates and cycle times by coordinating closely with sellers and internal stakeholders to streamline execution and ensure timely approvals.
  • Partner with Deal Desk, legal, and GTM leadership to ensure compliance with contracting standards, monitor regional trends, and support pricing and negotiation strategy alignment.
  • Identify and help secure new procurement opportunities and contracting vehicles, enabling expanded access to government markets and supporting long-term revenue growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in business, sales, government contracting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in SaaS, cloud, software, or technology sales within government or public sector environments.
  • Strong understanding of federal and SLED procurement processes, including contracting vehicles, compliance requirements, and negotiation frameworks.
  • Experience working with contract negotiations, redlines, and non-standard terms in complex deal environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve sales execution metrics such as close rates, deal velocity, or operational efficiency in a high-growth setting.
  • Strong organizational and execution mindset with the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and urgency.
  • Self-starter with the ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on enabling sellers to succeed in complex deal cycles.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $100,100 to $185,900 USD annually, with eligibility for annual performance-based bonus.
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Retirement savings plan with company match (401k).
  • Flexible work arrangements, including remote work and up to 8 weeks of work-from-anywhere flexibility per year.
  • Generous paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, holidays, and dedicated mental health days.
  • Strong learning and development support through structured growth programs, tuition reimbursement, and career development initiatives.
  • Employee wellbeing programs including mental health support, fitness reimbursement, and access to wellness resources.
  • Additional voluntary benefits such as insurance options, legal protection, identity theft coverage, commuter benefits, and employee stock purchase plan.
  • Paid volunteer days and social impact opportunities through community and ESG initiatives.
  • Inclusive and globally recognized workplace culture focused on flexibility, belonging, and professional growth.
