Auto Body Technician / Collision Repair Technician in Baxter, Minnesota at Mills Automotive Group

The BodyWorks is looking for an experienced and/or entry-level Auto Body Technician to join our team! If you take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy working with your hands, and want to be part of a team that values your skills, we'd like to talk with you.

What You'll Do

• Perform collision repairs and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Repair and replace damaged body panels, bumpers, doors, and other vehicle components.
• Perform structural and non-structural repairs.
• Prepare vehicles for refinishing and painting.
• Identify repair procedures and follow manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with estimators, painters, and other technicians to ensure quality repairs and timely completion.

What We're Looking For

• Prior auto-body experience is a plus though is not required.
• We have outstanding training opportunities available to those willing to grow.
• Knowledge of auto body repair techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to accurately assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• I-CAR certification or industry training is a plus.

This position is paid a Flat Rate for each hour produced. The starting Flat Rate range for this position is $20.00 – $27.00 and will be evaluated based upon relevant skills, training, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. If a candidate is not prepared to be paid Flat Rate we can explore an apprentice program with an hourly rate.
