AIML Lead in India at Jobgether

This role is designed for a seasoned AI professional ready to take ownership of end-to-end machine learning strategy and execution in a fast-evolving, innovation-driven environment. You will lead the design and deployment of advanced AI systems, with a strong focus on Generative AI, Large Language Models, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures. The position combines technical depth with leadership responsibility, guiding a team of engineers and data scientists while shaping the organization’s AI roadmap. You will work across business, product, and engineering teams to translate complex requirements into scalable AI solutions. • Define and drive the overall AI/ML strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals and innovation priorities.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of AI/ML engineers and data scientists, fostering technical excellence and growth.
• Architect and implement advanced machine learning and deep learning solutions, with a focus on transformer-based models and Generative AI.
• Develop, fine-tune, and optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) for real-world enterprise applications.
• Design and deploy Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for scalable, production-grade AI systems.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Data to deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
• Oversee the full ML lifecycle, including data preparation, model training, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Stay current with emerging AI research and integrate relevant innovations into production systems.

• 8+ years of experience in AI/ML, including at least 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Generative AI, LLM fine-tuning, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Advanced proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and transformer-based architectures.
• Deep experience with frameworks such as Hugging Face Transformers and related ML toolkits.
• Proven ability to deliver end-to-end machine learning systems in production environments.
• Strong understanding of MLOps practices and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred).
• Familiarity with vector databases and modern information retrieval techniques is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on scalable AI innovation.
