Job Description
The Service Technician is responsible for performing pool maintenance, equipment diagnostics, repairs, and seasonal service work for residential and commercial customers. This role supports daily field operations by ensuring pools and related equipment are operating safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards.
Service Technicians perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, complete repairs, and provide professional customer service during all service visits. This is a hands-on, outdoor role ideal for mechanically inclined individuals with prior pool service or related field experience.

Key Responsibilities- Perform routine pool maintenance including vacuuming, brushing, skimming, and water testing
- Complete seasonal pool openings and closings
- Diagnose and troubleshoot pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, and plumbing components
- Perform repairs, equipment replacements, and minor installations as needed
- Balance pool water chemistry and maintain proper operating conditions
- Identify and communicate repair recommendations and operational concerns to customers and management
- Maintain accurate service records, job notes, and operational documentation
- Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and service equipment
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during all field visits
- Follow company safety procedures and operational standards at all times
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Previous pool service, maintenance, construction, or mechanical experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Experience with pool equipment, plumbing, automation systems, and water chemistry preferred
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred
- Plumbing, electrical, or construction experience is a plus
- Customer service experience preferred
- Pool maintenance and equipment troubleshooting
