Description
Husson's College of Business is seeking to compile a pool of qualified candidates interested in future part-time teaching opportunities in legal studies. Such opportunities are dependent upon the needs of the University. Assignments may require teaching day or evening classes as needed.
The College of Business is seeking adjunct faculty to teach the following courses*:
Legal Research and Writing
Civil Litigation
Advanced Legal Writing
Alternative Dispute Resolution
*Specific courses may change depending upon the needs of the University
Note: This position is for face-to-face instruction; instructors are expected to be on campus.
Applications are reviewed as instructional needs arise. After the posting closes, applications may continue to be reviewed from the established pool based on departmental needs. Teaching assignments are dependent upon factors such as student enrollment, program needs, course scheduling, and institutional priorities.

Qualifications
Education: An earned Master's Degree in legal studies or a related field is required; Ph.D. preferred.
Experience : Successful teaching experience at the college level preferred. Demonstrated dedication to improving classroom teaching, exploring new methods, and adapting to student needs. Demonstrated ability to work well as a part of a team.

- Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared: Up to $1,016.67 per credit hour*
Graduate Courses:
- Master's Prepared: Up to $1,016.67 per credit hour*
- Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared: Up to $1,100.00 per credit hour*
*Rate is dependent upon the number of students enrolled in the course assigned.

Example of Duties
- Teaching courses in the fall and/or spring semesters in School of Legal Studies in a classroom setting
- Assisting and supporting students beyond the classroom by holding regular or virtual office hours as needed
- Working collegially with other faculty in the area to develop and use common syllabi, course materials, and assessment methods
- Using instructional technology, especially the Canvas LMS, Husson G-Suite applications, and the faculty portal.
- Assessing and reporting student performance
