Psychiatrist – VA Medical Center

Board Certified / Board Eligible Psychiatrist for an on-site VA opportunity in Memphis, TN at the Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr. VA Medical Center.

Compensation: $190.00/ HR

Requirements:

• Active unrestricted U.S. medical license

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Psychiatry

• Current BLS and ACLS

• On-site availability during clinic hours plus call coverage

Duties include:

• Inpatient and outpatient psychiatry

• Evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up

• Residential and specialty clinic coverage

• Collaboration with VA mental health staff

• Peer reviews and required documentation

Qualifications:

• Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia

• Board Certified / Board Eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology

• Current BLS and ACLS or equivalent

Schedule: Monday–Friday with weekday and weekend on-call responsibilities.
On-call response: within 15 minutes by phone and on-site within 60 minutes.
