Subject Matter Expert – Government in India at Jobgether

This role offers an opportunity to bring deep public sector expertise into a cutting-edge AI benchmarking initiative focused on real-world Indian government and civic service environments. You will contribute to the design and evaluation of realistic scenarios reflecting administrative operations, public safety coordination, social service delivery, compliance processes, and citizen-facing services. The work involves capturing the complexity of governance systems, including policy interpretation, case management, and inter-department coordination. You will help ensure AI systems understand how public institutions operate and respond within regulated, high-accountability environments. Working in a structured and impact-driven setting, you will collaborate with global experts to improve AI reliability in government-related contexts. Your contributions will directly shape how AI interprets and supports public sector workflows and citizen services.

• Design realistic government and public sector scenarios in Kannada or English based on Indian administrative contexts, including citizen services, social programs, compliance processes, public safety coordination, and community engagement activities.
• Adapt structured evaluation rubrics to assess policy interpretation, operational problem-solving, case management, and decision-making accuracy.
• Review AI-generated and human-generated outputs for factual correctness, procedural compliance, cultural appropriateness, and operational realism.
• Contribute to the development of “gold standard” solutions reflecting best practices in Indian public administration and government operations.
• Ensure scenarios accurately reflect real-world governance workflows, regulatory frameworks, and citizen service delivery standards.

• Native-level proficiency in Kannada with strong professional proficiency in English.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in government, public administration, social services, public safety, compliance, or related community programs.
• Background in roles such as administrative services, regulatory affairs, social work, public safety supervision, policing, or community services management.
• Strong understanding of public sector workflows, regulatory requirements, governance structures, and Indian government operations.
• Ability to translate real-world public sector experience into structured, analytical, scenario-based content.
• Strong judgment, attention to procedural detail, and ability to evaluate compliance-driven environments objectively.
