This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Global Monitoring + Insights Temp - Weekend Shift based in United States.

This role sits at the center of real-time intelligence and media monitoring, helping global clients understand how narratives evolve across social and traditional media.
You will track breaking developments, social conversations, and emerging risks as they unfold across digital platforms in a fast-paced, 24/7 information environment.
The position focuses on transforming large volumes of unstructured data into clear, actionable insights that support reputation management and strategic decision-making.
Working closely with analysts, you will contribute to alerts, briefings, and client reports that explain what is happening and why it matters.
The environment is highly collaborative and detail-driven, requiring strong curiosity and the ability to identify patterns in rapidly changing information.
This is a weekend-focused, remote temporary role designed for individuals who thrive in continuous news cycles and analytical storytelling.

Accountabilities:
  • Monitor social and traditional media platforms in real time to identify emerging trends, risks, and notable developments.
  • Use social listening and analytics tools to track conversations, including platforms such as Twitter and Reddit, and support data gathering activities.
  • Contribute to the creation of client alerts, briefings, and reports that translate data into clear narrative insights.
  • Collaborate with analysts to identify viral content or reputational risks and ensure timely client communication.
  • Assist in preparing structured datasets and supporting materials for ongoing analysis and reporting needs.
  • Write concise, insight-driven summaries explaining sentiment shifts, key events, and stakeholder perspectives.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis projects, including validation of data and development of charts or visual outputs when required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field, with preference for communications, journalism, economics, political science, history, or related social sciences.
  • Strong interest in media, social platforms, news cycles, and the intersection of business, politics, and culture.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear insights.
  • Experience producing written reports using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a strong ability to interpret underlying trends and narratives in large datasets.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working effectively in team-based environments.
  • Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday, 5 am–5 pm ET).
