As a Staff Engineer, ERP Dynamics Functional (Finance), you will play a key role in delivering and supporting enterprise-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance solutions for global clients. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, implement, and optimize finance processes while ensuring reliable production support. This position combines functional consulting, solution design, and application management, offering the opportunity to contribute throughout the entire project lifecycle—from discovery and implementation to post-go-live enhancements. - Lead end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance implementation projects, including discovery, solution design, configuration, deployment, go-live, and hyper-care support.
- Conduct business process workshops, fit-gap analyses, and solution design sessions to gather requirements and recommend effective ERP solutions.
- Configure and support Finance modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cost Accounting, Asset Leasing, Asset Management, and Project Accounting.
- Prepare functional design documents, business process maps, user guides, training materials, test scripts, and other project documentation.
- Collaborate with technical consultants to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and support user acceptance testing, deployments, and end-user training.
- Provide L2/L3 production support by troubleshooting complex issues, performing root cause analysis, recommending permanent solutions, and driving continuous system improvements.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and change requests using ITSM tools while maintaining SLA compliance and supporting Microsoft release updates, regression testing, and knowledge management initiatives.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing, best practices, and continuous improvement across the ERP practice.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of professional experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) or Dynamics AX 2012.
- Strong functional expertise across at least 2–3 Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cost Accounting, Asset Leasing, Asset Management, or Project Accounting.
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end D365 Finance implementations as well as Application Management Services (AMS) or production support engagements.
- Solid understanding of core finance business processes, including Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Plan-to-Produce.
- Experience working within ITIL-based support environments and SLA-driven service delivery models.
- Proficiency in preparing Functional Design Documents (FDDs), solution documentation, process documentation, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports.
- Hands-on experience with ITSM and project management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across implementation projects and production support activities.
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (MB-310) certification is preferred.
