What You’ll Be Doing

As our next Mold Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift), you will play a key role in delivering high-quality products in a clean, air-conditioned, and state-of-the-art environment.

  • Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair molds in tool shop and production environments
  • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of mold conditions and repairs
  • Diagnose and complete mold repairs based on condition reports
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on molds
  • Maintain and enter records (mold condition reports, spare parts, BDE system)
  • Assist in training and guiding apprentices
  • Handle mold components carefully during disassembly and assembly


What You Bring

  • Associate’s degree in Mechanical Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–2 years of related experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of metal polishing and mold electrical wiring
  • Proficient with hand tools and metric measurements
  • Ability to read technical documents and follow procedures
  • Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, measurements)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Profitemp


Requirements

  • Ability to work 2nd shift (2:30 PM-11 PM, Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays)
  • Ability to train on 1st shift for an approximately 2 months from 6am – 2:30pm before going on 2nd shift.
  • Regular standing, walking, and use of hands/tools
  • Frequent bending, climbing, and lifting (up to 25 lbs regularly, 100 lbs occasionally)
  • Good vision and manual dexterity required
