POSITION SUMMARY: The Imprinting Lead will work in conjunction with the production/assembly department and graphics department to perform duties essential for customer order completion, timeliness, and accuracy. As the Imprinting Lead, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and motivating the team to deliver on our goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
· Understands proper sorting, receiving, and staging of inventory
· Can safely, properly, and effectively operate multiple presses:
o Sidewinder Press (1 color)
o Manual Press (multi-color)
o Auto Press (multi-color)
o Pocket Press
o Heat Seal Press
o Hard Hat Press
o Safety Glasses Press
o Heat Press
· Can safely, properly, and effectively operate the Mimaki and DTF Printer
· Can safely, properly, and effectively select, mix, and modify ink
· Can safely, properly, and effectively produce screens for imprint
· Can safely, properly, and effectively produce plates for pad print
· Can safely, properly, and effectively train employees on each operation
· Mentor and coach team members to foster professional growth and enhance team performance
· Conducts quality checks throughout the process
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements:EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE & OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
· 5+ years previous printing experience in a production/assembly environment
· General problem solving/analysis capabilities with effective communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to motivate, inspire, and build a high-performing team
· Ability to read and understand Traveler
· Thorough knowledge of the prepping and catching methods for all press machines, re-bagging processes, and shipping standards
· Strong attention to detail
· Promotes a team environment
· Ability to lift 40 lbs.
