Job Description
SUMMARY
Provide professional care of makeup application for members and guests, provide uncompromised attention to quality of service and follow all protocols.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Consult with clients to understand their makeup needs and preferences.
2. Apply makeup to clients for various occasions, including special events and photoshoots.
3. Maintain a clean workspace and stay abreast of all State Board regulations.
4. Stay updated on the latest makeup trends and techniques to offer current and innovative services.
5. Sterilize all implements after every use.
6. Clean work area after each guest.
7. Clean and restock at the end of the shift.
8. Recommend and sell makeup products to clients as appropriate.
9. Travel to guest room as requested to perform services.
10. Maintain current required California State Licensing.
11. Actively participates in safety programs and abides by all injury reporting and safety behavior requirements.
12. Participates in and supports hotels efforts towards community service, sustainability and environmental initiatives
13. Performs other duties as directed, developed or assigned
Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS
1. Current State Board License
2. 2 years’ experience
3. Ability to communicate in English with vendors, guests, and staff to their understanding
4. Available to work weekends and holidays

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
1. Frequent or occasional need to perform the following physical activities: reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting, and climbing. Have frequent need to perform standing and walking activities related to inspecting property.
2. Constant need to perform the following physical activities: grasping, turning, finger dexterity.
3. Frequently needs to stand for long periods of time.
4. Lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs. frequently and 25 lbs. occasionally.
5. Vision requirements: constant need to view small print. Frequent need to see small details and things clearly beyond arms’ reach.
6. Hearing requirements: constant need to speak on telephone and/or two-way radio, respond to general public and converse with staff. Ability to hear fire alarms and emergency equipment.
Salary: $32.00 per hour
