Maintenance & Grounds Technician in Virginia Beach, Virginia at Hunt Club Farm

Hunt Club Farm is looking for a dependable, hands-on Facilities & Grounds Technician to help maintain and improve our property. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, operating equipment, and working independently.

Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects
- Maintain grounds, roadways, buildings, and operational areas
- Operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely
- Assist with event setup and breakdown
- Load and unload materials, supplies, and seasonal inventory
- Support daily farm operations and adapt to changing priorities

Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment
- Basic maintenance and repair knowledge
- Carpentry and/or electrical experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license required
- Flexible schedule, including weekends as needed

Physical Requirements
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and standing
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Comfortable working around livestock and farm animals
