The Manager, Financial Analytics is responsible for leading financial modeling, analytics strategy, and decision-support initiatives that help clients optimize real estate strategies and business outcomes. This role combines technical financial expertise with stakeholder collaboration to deliver impactful insights and scalable analytical solutions.
- Serve as the financial analytics leader for multi-market client engagements, supporting strategic real estate and financial decisions.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve sophisticated financial models aligned with client objectives, reporting needs, and key performance indicators.
- Build dynamic models evaluating lease options, occupancy costs, cash flows, capital investments, and financial alternatives.
- Perform financial analyses including pre-tax and after-tax cash flow projections, Net Present Value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), and cash versus GAAP evaluations.
- Translate business goals into practical analytics frameworks that support site selection, lease negotiations, renewals, acquisitions, dispositions, and portfolio optimization.
- Partner with transaction teams, account leaders, and client stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of financial insights.
- Establish standardized modeling methodologies while adapting solutions to meet unique client requirements.
- Lead the evolution of financial analytics tools, processes, and reporting capabilities.
- Support technology initiatives that improve analytical efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Mentor and develop financial professionals while contributing as a player-coach who balances leadership with hands-on execution.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in financial analysis, real estate finance, and analytics-driven decision-making, with the ability to manage complex projects, communicate insights effectively, and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8–12 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, real estate finance, occupier services, or related disciplines.
- Proven experience leading complex financial analyses for real estate transactions, tenant representation, or corporate occupier strategies.
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis, lease structures, occupancy costs, and real estate financial models.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with experience building sophisticated, dynamic financial models.
- Experience performing cash versus GAAP accounting analyses and evaluating financial impacts of transaction structures.
- Familiarity with real estate financial analysis platforms such as ProCalc or similar tools is preferred.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality financial insights.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop team members.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with brokers, account leaders, transaction teams, and senior business stakeholders.
- Competitive annual salary range of approximately $126,762 – $145,000, depending on experience, skills, education, and location.
