Senior Salesforce Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer based in India.

The Senior Salesforce Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing scalable Salesforce solutions that support business growth and operational efficiency. This position focuses on building innovative applications across Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud, CPQ, Billing, and enterprise integrations. You will collaborate with architects, administrators, and business stakeholders to transform complex requirements into effective technical solutions. You will work on high-impact projects while applying best practices in development, integration, security, and performance optimization. Accountabilities:

The Senior Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Salesforce solutions while ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business objectives. The role requires close collaboration with technical and business teams to deliver reliable features, integrations, and platform improvements.

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver solutions that address complex operational needs.
  • Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.
  • Implement event-driven architectures using Platform Events to enable scalable integrations and real-time data exchange.
  • Develop and enhance Salesforce CPQ and Billing solutions to improve quote-to-cash processes.
  • Optimize Salesforce applications for performance, security, usability, and long-term maintainability.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment activities, and CI/CD processes using tools such as Git and Copado.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs and development standards.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce platform releases and recommend improvements or new capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce administrators to ensure alignment with configuration, automation, and development best practices.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for production environments.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have extensive Salesforce development experience, strong technical expertise, and the ability to deliver enterprise-level solutions in a collaborative environment. A combination of hands-on development skills, platform knowledge, and strong communication abilities is essential for success in this role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Billing modules.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce data models, security architecture, automation, and integration patterns.
  • Experience with middleware platforms and enterprise system integrations.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools, deployment pipelines, and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments and tools such as JIRA.
  • Exposure to quote-to-cash processes, billing workflows, or financial automation solutions.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Developer II or CPQ Specialist certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Snowflake, Datadog, or Certinia Applications is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
