In this role, you'll lead the development and growth of a vibrant startup community by fostering meaningful engagement, building strategic relationships, and creating impactful programs and events. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll help strengthen connections between entrepreneurs, partners, and ecosystem stakeholders while contributing to initiatives that drive positive environmental impact. - Lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of community engagement strategies and day-to-day operations.
- Manage, mentor, and support the community team to deliver high-quality programs and member experiences.
- Plan, organize, and oversee community events, networking opportunities, and engagement initiatives.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with community members, partners, startups, and key ecosystem stakeholders.
- Develop and execute outreach campaigns to attract new members and expand community participation.
- Collaborate with program managers to support marketing, communications, and ecosystem-building activities.
- Maintain accurate community data, monitor engagement metrics, and provide regular progress reports.
- Contribute to additional organizational initiatives that support community growth and long-term impact.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline.
- 5–8 years of professional experience, including 2–3 years in community management or a related role.
- Experience working within the climate sector, startup ecosystem, or both is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated people management experience with the ability to lead and develop teams.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a genuine passion for supporting startups and innovation.
- Willingness to travel periodically for meetings and company retreats across India.
