Junior Sous Chef in Narrabundah, Australian Capital Territory at Swing City Golf & Entertainment

· Preparation of all food items with a focus on delivering a high-quality product to customers.

· Ensure presentation of food items is in line with the expectations and repeated consistently across the venue.

· Delivery of all food items in a timely manner to ensure customers satisfaction.

· Maintenance of safe and hygienic work areas, including kitchens, fridges, storerooms and service areas.

· Lead the kitchenhands to ensure cleaning duties are performed in line with expectations.

· Assist in stocktakes and ordering when required.

· Maintain portion control, stock rotation and replenishment of stock levels.

· Ensure the effective adherence and implementation of all policies and procedures.

· Take care of your health and safety and ensure the safety and wellbeing of others is not put at risk by your actions or omissions, comply with reasonable instructions provided by Swing City Golf in the interests of health and safety, including the reporting of injuries, incidents and hazards promptly (at least within 24 hours), and cooperate with Swing City Golf to meet its health, safety and environmental duties and responsibilities.

Chef Trade qualifications and demonstrated experience within a fast paced, volume based establishment with a commitment to high levels of food quality. Will consider cooks with high levels of experience with quality food products in a fast paced and volume based establishment.

Strong Food Safety Skills, and proven experience implementing these standards throughout the kitchen.

High level organisational and communication skills.

Previous experience within an organisation focussed on providing high levels of customer service and fostering a focus on customer service throughout the team.

Ability to plan, organise and deliver daily operations.

Food Safety Certification.
