JOB DESCRIPTION- Host/Hostess
As a Host/Hostess at Volanti you are the first impression of the restaurant and set the tone for guests' experiences. You will answer phones, make reservations, and be responsible for seating guests according to server availability. Your attention to detail and communication are critically important. You are also the last note of the experience and will wish guests farewell and invite them to come back
Responsibilities

Greet all guests with a smile upon arrival at entrance

Seat guests and accommodate special requests

Be well versed in all company experiences and packages available

Optimize seating to ensure an even workflow of the restaurant

Manage wait list: record guest names, number in party, and provide estimated waiting time

Manage the restaurant reservation system

Active problem solving to ensure guest satisfaction

Communication and interaction with all service staff

Ensure guests are seated promptly, be attentive to all guest in waiting areas

Inspect tables for proper presentation and completeness

Always Work together as a team with entire staff

Requirements

Prior customer service experience in hospitality industry

Positive attitude and interpersonal skills

Good communication skills and phone etiquette

Patience and customer-oriented approach
